I switched dentists a few years back due to an insurance change, and I picked him randomly because he's in my hometown. I absolutely HATE going to the dentist and would always try to put it off (for years sometimes). But I went to him and it's been absolutely great. He's very friendly, he explains what he sees as problem areas and tells you how to take care of your teeth for the long term. He also uses a lot of new technology that's more accurate and less painful. Seriously, he's great. I found out that my good friend and his wife also have gone to him for years, but we didn't know that until recently.
